According to hvylya.net: Ukrainians are promised that gas and heating tariffs will remain unchanged for the next heating season, as reported by the Odesa City Council. The ban on increasing tariffs is already in effect in Ukraine and is enshrined in the country's legislation, said Odesa's Deputy Mayor Anna Pozdnyakova.
The government plans to introduce changes to regulatory acts relating to the cost of gas for distributed generation and agreements for its purchase. In addition, reform of the centralized heating system is expected, with mandatory installation of individual heating points in residential buildings.
These steps will allow the government to better control heating supply, reduce costs for energy resources, and conserve energy. New service standards and requirements for heating supply companies will also help improve the situation regarding payment for energy services in Ukraine.
