According to glavcom.ua: The government has decided to keep gas prices for the population unchanged until the end of the heating season, that is, until March 31, 2026. However, this does not mean that heating in homes can already be turned on. The government explains that this is necessary to determine the conditions for gas supply.

«This is purely technical terminology for accurately defining the conditions during the natural gas supply periods», - explains the agency.

The government has also extended the mechanism of special obligations in the gas market to protect consumers and maintain stable gas prices throughout the heating season. Therefore, consider these additional measures in connection with this decision.

«The decision on the start and end of the heating season is made by local self-government bodies independently, taking into account the average daily temperature of the region», - adds the message.

Ultimately, residents of Lviv are preparing for possible inconveniences, as the city is checking all possible resources to ensure alternative water supply, electricity, and heating, which will last until October 11.
