The National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office discovered a corruption scheme in the energy sector during the 'Midas' operation, where officials and businessmen received illegal benefits from the contractors of the state enterprise 'Energoatom'. The organization built a system of influence over strategic enterprises, receiving kickbacks and affecting management and financial processes.

Ukraine demands that the IAEA convenes a Board of Governors meeting to prevent Russian attacks on objects of the Ukrainian energy system. After the last attack, the situation remains tense, and emergency recovery work is ongoing.

In Transcarpathia, the appellate court upheld the sentence in the case of the rape of a 14-year-old girl, imposing a punishment of six years of imprisonment on each of the accused. Also, in the Verkhovna Rada, resolutions to dismiss the Ministers of Justice and Energy due to their connections with corruption schemes have been registered. US President Donald Trump granted clemency to accomplices who aided attempts to contest the results of the 2020 elections.
