Ukrainian Pension Fund Allocates 6.6 Billion Hryvnias for February Payments

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of February 4th, the Ukrainian Pension Fund has reported its latest funding allocations for state payments. A total of 3.2 billion hryvnias (UAH) was allocated for pension payments. Of this sum, 1.6 billion UAH was distributed via JSC 'Ukrposhta' (the national postal service), with an equal amount of 1.6 billion UAH disbursed through authorized banks.

Insurance Payouts and Social Support

Separately, the Fund allocated 1.5 billion UAH for insurance payments and 0.3 billion UAH for sick leave compensation. An additional 3.8 million UAH was financed for state aid and other social benefits. In February, the Pension Fund also processed 214,000 service requests from individuals who applied to its offices. This ongoing financial support is a critical component of Ukraine's social safety net, especially during the current period of conflict and economic strain. The Fund's operations are essential for providing stability to vulnerable populations, including retirees and those requiring state assistance.
