Ukraine's Pension Fund Disburses 39.2 Billion UAH in Weekly Spending

According to Пенсії (RSS): Ukraine's Pension Fund has released its financial report for February 13, detailing expenditures across various social programs and the number of services provided. The total amount allocated for pension payments reached 39.2 billion Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH). This report comes during a period of significant economic pressure on the country's social safety net.

Specifically, the 39.2 billion UAH for pensions was distributed through two primary channels:

• 6.4 billion UAH was paid via the joint-stock company 'Ukrposhta';
• 32.8 billion UAH was disbursed through authorized banks.

In addition to pensions, 4.6 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits, while 2.3 billion UAH went toward insurance payments. Of this insurance sum, 1.1 billion UAH covered sick leave payments. A further 8.5 million UAH was spent on state aid and other benefits. In February, the Fund provided 749.3 thousand services.

The published figures highlight the substantial funding directed toward social programs, a key indicator for maintaining social stability within the nation.

These disbursements for pensions, subsidies, and aid reflect the state's efforts to support its citizens through a challenging economic time. Such metrics can serve as an indicator of the Pension Fund's operational efficiency and the overall level of social protection for the population.
