According to Пенсії (RSS): Ukraine's Pension Fund has released a report detailing its financing of social payments as of January 16. According to the data, the Fund provided 747,000 services to individuals who applied to its offices during January.

Financing for Pension Payments

The total amount financed for pension payments reached 44.9 billion Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH). This sum was allocated as follows:

  • 7.5 billion UAH was paid out via Ukrposhta, the national postal service;
  • 37.4 billion UAH was distributed through authorized banks;
  • 4.7 billion UAH was allocated for housing subsidies and benefits;
  • 2.2 billion UAH was designated for insurance payments, of which 1.0 billion UAH covered sick leave compensation;
  • 7.9 billion UAH was spent on state aid and other social payments.

This report highlights the Pension Fund's active role in maintaining social security payments amid the country's ongoing economic challenges.
