According to Пенсії (RSS): Ukraine's Pension Fund has published data on its financing of social payments as of January 21. During January, the Fund provided 958.2 thousand services to individuals who applied to its offices.

By January 21, a total of 54.9 billion hryvnias (UAH) had been allocated for pension and social payments. The breakdown of this expenditure is as follows:

  • 8.7 billion UAH was paid out via the national postal service, Ukrposhta;
  • 46.2 billion UAH was distributed through authorized banks;
  • 4.7 billion UAH was spent on housing subsidies and benefits;
  • 2.5 billion UAH was allocated for insurance payments, which includes 1.3 billion UAH for sick leave compensation;
  • 7.9 billion UAH was used for state aid and other social benefits.

These figures highlight the Pension Fund's active role in providing social support to the population, a critical function given the country's ongoing economic challenges. The substantial spending on pensions and social programs underscores the government's efforts to maintain social stability and assist vulnerable groups. This financial support is a key component of Ukraine's social safety net during a period of national hardship.
