Ukraine's Pension Fund Disburses 65.6 Billion Hryvnias in January: A Breakdown of Expenditures

According to Пенсії (RSS): The Pension Fund of Ukraine has released its financial data for social payments processed by January 30. During January, the fund provided services for 1,487,400 applications from individuals.
Breakdown of Funded Payments
The total sum allocated for pension payments reached 65.6 billion hryvnias. This amount was distributed as follows:
- 8.8 billion hryvnias were paid out via JSC 'Ukrposhta';
- 56.8 billion hryvnias were disbursed through authorized banks;
- 4.9 billion hryvnias were allocated for housing subsidies and benefits;
- 3.2 billion hryvnias were spent on insurance payments, of which 2.1 billion hryvnias covered sick leave compensation;
- 8.9 billion hryvnias were used for state aid and other payments.
These figures indicate a stable start to the year for Ukraine's social security system, a critical factor for protecting vulnerable citizens during a period of economic strain.
