Zelensky and Trump hold negotiations: what the leaders have agreed on
According to glavcom.ua: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the White House for negotiations with American President Donald Trump. The main topics of conversation are increasing Ukraine's defense capabilities, particularly the supply of air defense systems and Tomahawk missiles, as well as concluding an agreement for new aid from the USA.
Poland refused to extradite Ukrainian Volodymyr Zhuravlyov to Germany. He is accused of blowing up the 'Nord Stream' gas pipelines, but a Polish court decided that there was insufficient evidence for the transfer. Slovakia is also providing Ukraine with assistance in energy equipment and the construction of shelters in frontline regions.
A fire broke out at the 'Avangard' factory in the Urals
A fire and powerful explosions occurred at the 'Avangard' chemical plant in Sterlitamak, resulting in casualties and injuries. This factory produces explosives and other military goods and is part of the Russian state corporation 'Rostec'.
During the negotiations at the White House, Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump discuss issues of increasing Ukraine's security and concluding new agreements on military cooperation. At the same time, court proceedings regarding the extradition of Ukrainians to other countries due to serious criminal charges continue in Ukraine. The disaster at the 'Avangard' factory in the Urals has caused human casualties and significant material damage.
