In Ukraine, the payment of housing vouchers worth 2 million UAH has started: who can receive them

The first 1500 families have already submitted applications for housing vouchers for internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories. This new component of the eRecovery program, which has been implemented in the Diia mobile application, allows Ukrainians with combatant status or persons with disabilities due to the war to conveniently submit their applications.

The value of each voucher is 2 million hryvnias. This allows for the purchase of housing in a safe region, investment in new construction, or allocating funds for mortgage repayment.

Who can apply?

Applications from persons with combatant status or persons with disabilities due to the war, who have a certificate of status with an address of actual residence in the territory controlled by Ukraine, and who do not have other housing in these territories, will be prioritized.

It is essential that the person has not already used housing support in other programs and has not submitted applications for eRecovery previously. All data will be automatically taken from the registers, so there is no need to submit documents manually.

While working on the program, the Ministry of Development team aims to attract funds so that as many Ukrainians who lost their housing due to the war can receive new ones, regardless of Russia's decisions.

Ukrainian internally displaced persons will be able to receive support in the form of housing vouchers from the eRecovery program. The new component allows for a convenient and quick application process through the mobile app, making it easier to obtain the necessary assistance. Vouchers will allow for the purchase of housing in a safe region, invest in future construction, or repay a mortgage.
