Ukraine received an international award for combating corruption: how will it affect citizens
During the annual professional conference and General Assembly of EPAC/EACN in The Hague (Netherlands), the award for the best initiative in transparency was held. NAPK representative Serhii Hupiak showcased Ukraine's experience in implementing an anti-corruption communication strategy and fostering integrity among children through innovative educational materials.
According to Hupiak, the communication strategy developed by NAPK is the first systematic and large-scale project in Ukraine that unites various sectors and fields to combat corruption.
As a result of implementing the strategy, Ukrainian society has become more educated about e-services and the activities of whistleblowers.
Moreover, the importance of educational materials for schoolchildren was highlighted, and the guide 'PROIntegrity' was presented, integrating issues of integrity and anti-corruption behavior into school subjects.
Participation in the voting allowed the NAPK project to take second place and receive positive feedback from international partners.
