Ukraine will receive 40.5 million euros for business: who will receive grants
On November 27, a discussion on the progress and further steps of Ukrainian-German cooperation in supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) during the war took place at the Ministry of Finance. They also talked about the institutional transformation of the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF).
“Thanks to joint projects with Germany, we are not only expanding opportunities for Ukrainian businesses during the war but also shaping a modern development institution that will meet the highest European standards,” stated Yuriy Draganchuk, Deputy Minister of Finance for European Integration.
During the meeting, the results of the SME Resilience Facility project aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses in de-occupied and war-affected regions were discussed. Ukraine is preparing for the first disbursements from the KfW grant of 40.5 million euros.
Partnership with Germany continues to play a key role in strengthening Ukrainian entrepreneurship and the institutional development of the EDF and the future National Development Institution (NDI).

The meeting at the Ministry of Finance discussed cooperation with Germany regarding support for small and medium-sized businesses during the war. The SME Resilience Facility project is aimed at assisting businesses in de-occupied and war-affected regions, which is extremely important for the further development of entrepreneurship in Ukraine.
