Actor Andriy Synishyn died in Sumy region: farewell in Lviv on September 13

According to glavcom.ua: Ukrainian actor Andriy Synishyn, known for his work in the Lesya Ukrainka Theater and 'People and Puppets', died on April 16, 2025, near the village of Yunakivka in the Sumy region. This was reported by the Lesya Ukrainka Academic Theater in Lviv.

The farewell ceremony for the deceased actor will take place on September 13. The service will be held at 11:00 in Lviv, and the funeral will take place at 14:00 in the village of Rozvoryany, which is the homeland of Andriy Synishyn.

Memory of Andriy Synishyn

Andriy Synishyn received his education at Lviv National University, where he began his career in theater and also starred in a film. Since 2021, he successfully performed in the theaters named after Lesya Ukrainka and 'People and Puppets'.

Synishyn joined the Defense Forces at the beginning of the Russian aggression. He initially served in the 103rd Brigade with the call sign 'Stus', and then transferred to the 80th Galician Air Assault Brigade, where he received the call sign 'Absurd'.

'My son. Yesterday he died. He died as a hero, defending the future of this country, his loved ones, and friends... I will love you always, my heavenly one,' wrote Serhiy Holiachenko.

Also on the front, Oleksandr Holiachenko, a former journalist and serviceman, was killed as a result of a Russian drone strike. Also during this same incident, the head of the Farmers Association of the Kherson region, Oleksandr Hordiienko, was killed, another victim of the drone strike.

The tragic death of a well-known actor and other Ukrainian citizens on the front is a heavy blow to the country, marked by their heroism and self-sacrifice in defense of Ukraine.
