According to РБК-Україна — Lite: In a candid interview, Pylyp Koliadenko discussed his creative work and his bond with his father, Dmytro Koliadenko, highlighting that their tastes and worldviews differ significantly. Pylyp admitted he no longer seeks his father’s advice on artistic matters, recognizing that their approaches do not complement each other.

“We have different tastes, a different sense of life when it comes to everything-clothing, the time we spend together. So I approach it like a fan,” Pylyp explained.

Despite these differences, Pylyp praised some of his father’s older songs, suggesting they would shine if performed in Ukrainian.

“I’ll be honest and straightforward: he has incredibly beautiful songs that he once wrote himself, along with their lyrics, and if he translated them, it would be fantastic,” Pylyp emphasized.

He also noted that Dmytro Koliadenko always works with love for the audience-a quality that, while not always resonating with Pylyp, attracts many fans.

Values and Parental Influence

Dmytro Koliadenko, a professional actor, performed in Sumy, where he met Pylyp’s mother. Pylyp shared that during the war, his mother encouraged his father to join the theater, which became a pivotal moment for him.

“I am incredibly happy that he is there,” Pylyp said.

Pylyp also reflected on the values he inherited from his parents. He credited his mother for instilling in him a strong work ethic, empathy, and self-improvement skills, while attributing his kindness to his father.

“My dad has an incredible side-his kindness. He always enveloped and protected my mom with that kindness and sincerity,” Pylyp noted.

He described his father as someone always ready to help:

“I think of him as a person who gives kindness to the first person who approaches him.”
