Investigation into the Death of the Mango Founder

According to glavcom.ua: Spanish police have launched an investigation on suspicion of murder concerning the death of the 71-year-old founder of the popular fashion brand Mango, Isaac Andic, which occurred in December 2024 during a family trip in Catalonia. Initially, this incident was classified as an accident.

According to El País, the Catalan police are currently considering the murder theory and are focusing on the possible involvement of the deceased's son - Jonathan Andic. The son's unconvincing testimony, which 'raised suspicions' among law enforcement, along with the testimony of golfer Estefania Knut, partner of Isaac Andic, indicate negative relations between father and son.

“The witness contradicted himself, left unclear moments and described events that could not correspond to the conclusions of the Catalan police,” the publication reported.

In September of this year, Jonathan Andic's status was changed to that of a suspect, and now the police are checking the data from his mobile phone. The Andic family believes in a swift conclusion to the investigation and evidence of Jonathan's innocence.

The Catalan police are investigating the death of the Mango founder as a possible murder and are discussing the possible involvement of the deceased's son. Jonathan Andic has been categorized as a suspect, and the process of checking his mobile phone is ongoing. The family hopes that the investigation will prove Jonathan's innocence.
