More than 2.2 million Ukrainians will receive the 'Winter Thousand' by the end of the year
The government continues the 'Winter Support' program to help Ukrainians cope with expenses during the cold season. Within the framework of the third and fourth waves of payments, 1,000 UAH will be received by another 2.2 million people. Up to 3 billion UAH is allocated for this purpose.
Today, December 3, payments for applications in Diya from November 18-19 will be funded. In the coming days, payments for those who submitted applications on November 20-22 will follow. And citizens who applied for assistance through Ukrposhta will start receiving funds as early as December 6.
Previous Payments from the Program
Earlier, within the framework of the second wave, support was provided to 2.5 million Ukrainians for an amount exceeding 3 billion UAH.
Conditions and Opportunities for Receiving Assistance
Applications for the 1,000 UAH can be submitted until December 24, 2025, in Diya or at any of the more than 26,000 Ukrposhta branches. The program is available to all citizens who are in Ukraine.
The received funds can be spent on utility and postal services, Ukrainian medicines and books, as well as for charity. Soon – on food products as well. Already, Ukrainians have used over 1.1 billion UAH through the 'National Cashback' card.
The initiative to help Ukrainians during the cold season continues to develop. Thanks to the 'Winter Support' program, more than 2.2 million people will receive the necessary 'Winter Thousand', which will help ease the financial situation during this period. All citizens have the opportunity to take advantage of this program to receive additional assistance in paying bills, purchasing medical supplies, and even food products.
