According to ХВИЛЯ: According to employment statistics released by Gremi Personal, approximately 740,000 to 780,000 Ukrainian citizens were working in Poland by the end of 2025. This significant workforce is vital to the Polish economy, which has long relied on migrant labor from its eastern neighbor. A notable 92% of these workers are pre-war immigrants from Ukraine, while 78% of the employed individuals arrived in Poland after the start of the full-scale invasion.
Sectors of Employment
The data shows that the largest share of Ukrainians works in logistics and warehousing, where nearly every second Ukrainian chooses jobs as packers or sorters. The agricultural and food processing sectors also play a crucial role, accounting for 11% of total Ukrainian employment, which includes farm work and product processing.
Furthermore, industrial and technical work remains a stable channel for employment. Unskilled labor, as well as jobs in meat and fish processing, continue to be popular among Ukrainian workers. Beyond warehouse logistics, there is growing demand for specialists in the construction sector, where the Polish market faces a shortage of qualified bricklayers, tilers, and installers.
