Parcels abroad from 'Ukrposhta' have become much cheaper
«Ukrposhta» launched the «Small Package PRIME» tariff on October 7, 2025, for parcels up to 5 kg, allowing 30% of clients to save 22–25% on deliveries to Great Britain, China, Singapore, India, Thailand, and Chile. This was reported by Ihor Smilianskyi, CEO of JSC «Ukrposhta».
The tariff applies to shipments weighing 2–5 kg, where the savings are highest – up to 25% compared to the classic «parcel». For businesses with Great Britain, which ranks second in Ukrainian exports after Poland, this means cheaper logistics for textiles, cosmetics, or agricultural products.
Which foreign destinations have become cheaper for 'Ukrposhta' parcels
Overall, the service covers six popular destinations where Ukraine actively trades: from Asia to Latin America. Clients are already noting the convenience – real-time tracking through Ukrposhta's new application, which simplifies registration and control.
«We are pleased to bring good news ahead of the holiday season. Great sales, cosmic shipments – and until we meet again!», – noted Ihor Smilianskyi, CEO of JSC «Ukrposhta».
Here are the countries where the «Small Package PRIME» is applicable:
-
Great Britain (export worth $1.2 billion in 2024);
-
China (key market for raw materials);
-
Singapore (hub for re-exporting to Asia);
-
India (trade growth of 15% annually);
-
Thailand (tourist and textile destination);
-
Chile (access to Latin America).
Which business will benefit from the cheaper tariffs from 'Ukrposhta'
These changes – a response to the challenges of 2025: after Donald Trump imposed a 25% tariff on imports from India, Ukrposhta has integrated with American partners, so 85% of the first 100,000 parcels to the USA pass customs within a day.
For Ukrainians, this is an ease: entrepreneurs who send handmade goods or products will now compete more, and Black Friday or Christmas will become more profitable. Experts predict that the export volume through Ukrposhta will grow by 10% by the end of the year because the tariffs make Ukraine more attractive to global platforms like Etsy or Amazon.
Earlier, we reported that Ukrposhta launched a new mobile application.
