Ukraine and Germany strengthen partnership: what will change in land reform

According to Офіс реформ: The partnership between Ukraine and Germany on the path of land reform and managing state lands is gaining momentum. A presentation of the reform priorities and opportunities for cooperation took place in Germany.
Main areas of cooperation:
- support for the digitization of cadastres and the development of an electronic identification system for agricultural land;
- strengthening spatial planning at the local level;
- assistance in the consolidation of land plots;
- joint initiatives for environmental protection and the development of monitoring systems;
- development and implementation of anti-corruption tools in the field of land relations.
The goal of the reform is to create an efficient and modern system for managing land resources that meets European standards.
“Professional dialogue between Ukraine and Germany in the field of land relations and the implementation of digital technologies is an important step towards recovery after the war and the European integration of Ukraine.”
Ukraine and Germany continue to collaborate fruitfully in the field of land reform, digitization, and anti-corruption measures aimed at improving the management of state lands and ensuring compliance with European standards.
