The Ministry of Veterans launches a reform: how military skills will become a civilian profession
According to hvylya.net: A presentation of the results of the research 'Improving Career Paths and Adapting Ukrainian Veterans to Civil Employment' took place in Kyiv. The aim of the research is to help veterans find adaptation to civilian life through the development of effective career paths and other measures, as reported by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs.
The research considered not only official data but also practical experience gained by veterans during their service. Among the results are comparisons of military specialties with professional standards, analysis of job descriptions, and ties with the business community.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Veterans Affairs and Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation. The measures include joint initiatives to develop training and employment programs for veterans, as well as an exchange of experiences in this field. Participants also discussed the importance of building career paths for veterans in civilian life.
During the presentation, the importance of supporting veterans in their return to peaceful life and creating conditions for successful professional growth outside the army was emphasized. This research and the signed memorandum open new opportunities for veterans to find their place in civil society and realize their potential in new areas of activity.
