According to Кабмін: The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with the heads of regional military-civilian administrations regarding the implementation of the government's decision to revise the actual lists of critical infrastructure facilities. As a result of the revision, it was possible to release at least 800 MW of electrical power. This will reduce the duration of electricity outages for both residents and industry. Two categories of facilities consuming less than 100 kW of power were excluded from the lists, as well as facilities connected to other consumers subject to general restrictions.

During the review, it was determined that the consumers of ancillary load facilities that are not critical will be transferred to general outage schedules. The innovations will not affect reference hospitals, life-support facilities, and enterprises of the defense-industrial complex.

“As a result of the review, we found the opportunity to release at least 800 MW of electrical power. This will impact the reduction of the duration of electricity outage schedules for people and industry,” reported the Prime Minister.

Yulia Svyrydenko issued instructions to the Ministry of Energy and the State Energy Regulatory Commission to monitor the implementation of this decision on the ground.

The Ukrainian Prime Minister held a meeting with the heads of regional administrations regarding the revision of the lists of critical infrastructure facilities. This step will reduce electricity outages and improve supply for the population and industry. The most energy-intensive facilities that are not critical were removed from the lists, which will contribute to a more equitable distribution of electricity.
