Privatization in Ukraine: the most attractive objects for investors
According to hvylya.net: The State Property Fund reported impressive revenues from privatization to the state budget for the first half of 2025. The total amount was 820.5 million hryvnias, of which 156.59 million hryvnias is VAT. In addition, the overall economic effect is estimated at over 977 million hryvnias.
'The high level of competition is particularly impressive. A total of 1946 participants took part in the auctions. This indicates a strong interest from businesses in Ukrainian assets. The average number of participants was 7. Intensive competition led to a significant increase in the market value of assets. On average, the price of privatized assets increased by about 4 times from the initial price.'
The State Property Fund conducted 236 successful privatization auctions. Currently, there are many investment objects available, including 21 large privatization objects and 1308 small privatization objects, including distilleries, grain processing plants, quarries, prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises, and more.
Data from the State Property Fund of Ukraine indicate successful privatization results in the country for the first half of 2025. The high level of competition at the auctions helps to increase the market value of assets, which contributes to increased revenues in the state budget and stimulates investment activity among Ukrainian businesses.
