According to the published information, the ceasefire will be in effect from 16:00 on April 11 until the end of April 12. The total duration is approximately 32 hours.

The Russian side's statement indicated that the decision was made in connection with the Orthodox Easter holiday. Military units were supposedly ordered to cease hostilities during this period.

At the same time, the announcement emphasizes readiness to respond to possible 'provocations' and other actions by the enemy.

The document also expresses hope that the Ukrainian side will adhere to a similar ceasefire regime.

Similar statements about short-term ceasefires have previously been made by Russia during religious holidays, but their implementation has not always been confirmed in practice.

As of the time of publication, there has been no official statement from the Ukrainian side regarding this announcement.

Recall that during Easter 2025, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry responded to the U.S. State Department's call and accused Ukraine of violating the ceasefire and using American HIMARS weapons.
