The Rada transferred NABU and SAP under the Prosecutor General: the decision is up to Zelensky
According to hvylya.net: 263 deputies voted in favor of bill No. 12414 in the second reading, which changes the powers of anti-corruption bodies in Ukraine. According to this document, the Prosecutor General receives new levers of influence over the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, which poses a threat to their independence.
Risks for anti-corruption bodies
Before the vote, NABU and SAP expressed serious dissatisfaction and warned of the threats posed by the adopted bill. According to them, these changes subordinate the activities of anti-corruption bodies to the Prosecutor General, depriving them of independence. This may lead to the destruction of the anti-corruption infrastructure built since 2015.

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office also spoke out about the bill as a threat regarding the organization's independence and granting the Prosecutor General broad powers.
Call to the president
NABU director Artem Sytnyk urged the president not to sign the changes, which he believes would eliminate the independence of anti-corruption bodies. Sytnyk believes that these changes could destroy the anti-corruption infrastructure built after the Euromaidan.
The Parliament of Ukraine adopted a law that provides new powers to the Prosecutor General and may threaten the independence of the country's anti-corruption bodies. NABU and SAP expressed serious dissatisfaction with these changes, asserting that they could lead to the destruction of the anti-corruption infrastructure built in recent years.
