Rescuer blew up on a mine while extinguishing a fire in Kharkiv region

According to glavcom.ua: Currently, the area of the fire is about 23 hectares, and the pine undergrowth is burning. A total of 30 rescuers and 10 units of State Emergency Service equipment are involved in the extinguishing efforts, along with 10 workers and six units of forestry equipment. Pyrotechnic teams from the State Emergency Service are working at the site of the incident.
According to the State Emergency Service, during the fire extinguishing process in the territory of the Petrivskyi forestry in the Izium district, rescuers were injured due to an explosion. Preliminary information indicates that the rescuers' vehicle hit an anti-tank mine. The incident resulted in injuries to the driver of the vehicle.
The event that occurred in the forestry of the Kharkiv region highlights the dangers faced by rescuers during emergency situation liquidation. Their hazardous work in the service of citizens' safety often requires sacrifice and high professionalism.
