A thick fog will cover Ukraine on November 2: which regions will avoid the bad weather

According to glavcom.ua: Residents of Ukraine have been warned about dangerous meteorological phenomena on November 2. The danger level is I (yellow). As reported by 'Glavkom', this information comes from the 'Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center' and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

Thus, on the night and in the morning of November 2, a fog will cover Ukraine – visibility will be 200-500 m. The exceptions will be the following regions: western, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Odesa.

«I danger level, yellow», - meteorologists noted.

Such weather conditions may lead to complications in transportation.

Due to the forecasted fog on the roads, one should be extremely careful and cautious. In adverse weather conditions, drivers should:

• reduce speed
• turn on fog lights along with low beams
• maintain a safe distance from other vehicles
• avoid sharp maneuvers on the road.

As for pedestrians, it is advisable to:

• be attentive;
• use reflective elements to remain visible to drivers in the dark and during fog.

Weather forecast for winter

Recall that analysts from MkWeather predict that the winter of 2025-2026 may become one of the coldest in recent decades, and Ukraine will be at the epicenter of potential Arctic cold. According to the forecast, winter will have a two-phase structure: December will be predominantly wet and relatively mild, while January will bring a gradual decrease in temperatures, and February – a real wave of Arctic cold with severe frost and snowfalls.

Ukrainians have received a warning about dangerous fog in many regions of the country, which may complicate traffic and require caution on the roads. Predictions indicate that the approaching winter could be one of the harshest in recent decades, prepare for Arctic cold and snowfalls in January-February.
