Markets and supermarkets have updated prices: some vegetables are nearly given away for free

According to hvylya.net: In our country, there is a decline in prices for staple vegetables due to an increase in the supply of the new harvest of 2025. This trend is especially noticeable in the summer due to the large quantity of fresh products on the market.

For example, young potatoes have decreased by 75%, cucumbers by 33%, and red tomatoes by 25%. As for other vegetables, prices for sweet peppers have risen by 33%, and cauliflower has doubled in price. Zucchini and Chinese cabbage have also become more expensive.

In Kharkiv, there is also a decrease in prices for seasonal vegetables. Experts forecast further declines in vegetable prices in July, but do not expect a significant drop in fruit prices due to unfavorable weather conditions that have affected the harvest of stone fruits. Price dynamics correspond to summer trends, despite initial weather problems in the spring.
