Every scene in the campaign was filmed without computer-generated imagery, highlighting the robot's real-world capabilities. Atlas performs the complex Ghost Rabona kick, where one leg crosses behind the standing leg to strike the ball. To execute this move, the robot relies on dynamic balance, full-body coordination, weight shift adaptation, motion impulse control, and precise movement management.
Training and Development of the Atlas Robot
Atlas learns by analyzing soccer player movement data, transferring it into physical simulations, and training through reinforcement learning.
