The number of internally displaced persons registered with the State Employment Service decreased by 40% in the first half of 2025 compared to the previous year. Despite this reduction, the number of unemployed who have found work among this category remains stable. Specifically, nearly 4,000 people underwent training, and more than 1,400 participated in public works.
'The decrease in the number of IDPs seeking work is natural. The majority of people left their homes and tried to build careers in new places right after the full-scale invasion. Since then, 243,000 internally displaced persons have contacted the State Employment Service.'
There is a positive aspect - the effectiveness of employment among internally displaced persons is increasing, which indicates the successful work of the Employment Service in this area.
