According to Главком: On April 18, Russian military forces carried out drone attacks in the Kharkiv region, resulting in civilian casualties and property damage. An investigation into these incidents has been launched. These strikes are part of a wider pattern of attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure, which has escalated in recent months.

At approximately 11:00, a drone, preliminarily identified as a Molniya-type, struck a meat processing plant in Bohodukhiv, injuring three people. According to reports, three female employees suffered acute stress reactions. Around 11:30, another drone, preliminarily identified as an Italmass-type, hit the village of Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district, damaging three cars. No information about casualties from the attack on Zolochiv was reported.

Odesa Region Also Targeted

Additionally, overnight on April 18, Russian forces also attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. The targets in Odesa included port and industrial infrastructure facilities. During the night of April 18, a drone struck a private residential house in the city of Bohodukhiv, injuring a 42-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman.

In connection with these events, pre-trial investigations have been initiated for the commission of war crimes under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
