Furthermore, on January 28th, the city was targeted by a ballistic missile. This attack damaged critical infrastructure, cutting off the heating supply to a number of residential buildings. However, emergency repair crews successfully restored the heating system by January 29th, mitigating the impact of the earlier strike. These attacks are part of Russia's ongoing campaign to target Ukrainian cities far from the front lines.
