Russia attacked the railways of Sumy and Kharkiv regions: details of the strikes

According to glavcom.ua: Russian terrorists carried out an attack on the railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions on the night of October 31. This information was reported by the press service of 'Ukrzaliznytsia', which is quoted by 'Glavcom'.

As a result of this attack, a passenger depot in Sumy was damaged, along with other company buildings and train No. 779/780 Sumy - Kyiv. Some carriages were replaced with substitutes for passenger transport, but the train departed on schedule.

Comment from the company representative: 'According to preliminary information, no one was injured - all employees timely moved to shelter.'

The railway infrastructure near Lozova in the Kharkiv region was also damaged, causing train No. 228/227 Husarivka - Ivano-Frankivsk to move via a different route. However, the company stated that it is doing everything possible to minimize the train's delay from the schedule.

We remind you that this is not the first case of Russian occupiers attacking residential areas and infrastructure in Ukraine. In a previous drone attack on Sumy, peaceful residents of the city were affected.

As a result of the nighttime attack by Russian terrorists on the railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions, a passenger depot, other company buildings, and rolling stock of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' were damaged. Some trains had to be replaced with substitutes for passenger transport, and the routes of others were changed. The terrorist act not only disrupted the normal functioning of the railway but also jeopardized the safety and comfort of the peaceful population.
