Attack on Ukraine

Dnipro

On the night of August 30, the Russian occupying army launched a mass attack on Dnipro using «shaheds» and missiles.

Head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Serhiy Lysak confirmed the mass attack on Dnipro and its region.

«There are hits in Dnipro and Pavlohrad. We are clarifying all the information. The threat remains. Stay in a safe place until the all-clear», - Lysak reported.

After a series of explosions in the districts of Dnipro, fires broke out. Local residents report damage to private houses and other facilities.

Zaporizhzhia

Also, on the night of August 30, Zaporizhzhia was again attacked by the Russian occupying army, which used drones and missiles. Destruction and casualties have been confirmed.

According to the head of Zaporizhzhia OVA Ivan Fedorov, the city was attacked with various types of weapons, while the power was turned off on some streets.

As a result of the attack on residential buildings, there are casualties. The fire caused by the shelling is spreading.

Other cities

Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Lutsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv. Many missiles were directed precisely at western Ukraine.

Oil refineries attacked in Russia

On the night of August 30, two oil refineries in Russia became the target of attacks - in Krasnodar and the city of Syzran in the Samara region.

The Krasnodar and Syzran oil refineries were damaged, which was a serious blow to the Russian industry.

Rubio on the closure of USAID

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the start of the process of closing the Agency for International Development (USAID) and transferring some of its programs under the control of the State Department. This step aims to save funds.

Two defense contracts for Ukraine approved

The U.S. approved the sale of services and equipment to Ukraine for satellite communications via Starlink and Patriot air defense systems. The total amount of the agreements is about $329.1 million.

Invasion of Venezuela
