According to glavcom.ua: On the night of August 24, on Ukraine's Independence Day, Russian terrorists continue to terrorize the peaceful Ukrainian population. The city of Sumy came under shelling, according to a report from 'Glavkom'. Monitoring channels reported dozens of loud explosions heard in the city. The occupiers used drones for massive attacks on Sumy.

«The Defense Forces are taking measures. The consequences of the attack are being analyzed. We thank the defenders who are monitoring our cities 24/7. The danger continues – stay in safe places», said the head of the Sumy Regional Administration Oleg Grygorov.

We remind that on the night of August 20, the Russian terrorist army launched a large-scale drone attack on the city of Okhtyrka in the Sumy region, resulting in casualties among the civilian population. As a result of the attack, 12 people were injured, including two children. A residential apartment building, 13 private houses, a utility structure, and garages were also damaged.
