According to glavcom.ua: In the Bryansk region, near the Ukrainian border, Russian troops have built a new launch site for Shahed kamikaze drones. This information was disclosed by analyst Brady Africk, according to "Glavcom" referring to satellite images.

The images show what the new launch complex looks like with four storage areas hidden under high caverns. There are structures resembling sheds, as well as two launch pads with catapults for launching drones.

Russian troops are actively building similar launch sites not only near the border but also in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In particular, the airport "Primorsko-Akhtarsk" in the southeastern part of Russia already had a similar facility.

The Dnipro project has identified two more complexes in the Oryol and Bryansk regions. One of them, located in the Oryol region near the border, serves as the main site for Russian long-range drones. The other in the Bryansk region, near the village of Navlya, while smaller in size, has similar infrastructure and is also used for launching drones.

Increased drone production in Russia, along with the extensive involvement of local authorities, enterprises, and even schoolchildren in this process, has led to a significant rise in the use of kamikaze drones during attacks on Ukraine. If earlier Russia could launch 43 drones in one night, this month their number has increased to over 800.

The creation of new launch sites for Shahed kamikaze drones in the Bryansk region only confirms the rising tension in the region and the threat to Ukraine from Russian military assets.
