According to glavcom.ua: OSINT analysts suggest that the target of the attack could have been Poltava, as the bomb fell 20-30 km from the city, flying over Skorokhodove. The enemy used a gliding aviation bomb with a control and correction module, likely in a modification with a jet engine. The previous use of similar weaponry occurred on October 18 in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region. The strike from a distance of 120+ km from the border indicates the use of hybrid weaponry, such as 'Grom-1' or its more modified versions with a range of up to 200 km.

Today, Russian forces have for the first time used a modernized guided aviation bomb (KAB) on the territory of Poltava district, reports 'Glavkom' referring to the Air Force of Ukraine. The distance to the target was about 120 km. This attack confirms the consistent modification by Russia of airstrike means to increase the range of impact and minimize risks for its tactical aviation.

Summary

Russian forces have for the first time used a guided aviation bomb on the territory of Poltava region, striking from a distance of about 120 km from the city. This event indicates an increase in Russian military presence and testing of new means of impact on the territory of Ukraine.
