Russia’s Foreign Ministry Issues Warning on Kyiv Strikes

According to ХВИЛЯ: Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has urged international diplomats to evacuate Kyiv, citing plans to strike decision-making centers and command posts. In a statement released on its official website (mid.ru), the ministry announced that the Russian military is preparing systematic attacks on defense-industrial facilities located in the Ukrainian capital. This threat follows reports of a strike on a college and dormitory in Starobilsk, Luhansk region, which occurred on May 22.

Vladimir Putin claimed that the incident left 6 dead and 15 missing. However, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied these allegations. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, commented on the situation, stating:

'This is happening against the backdrop of an inability to ensure security on one’s own territory, when even Moscow is already being hit. With terror against civilians, Putin wants to mask his failure to guarantee Russia’s safety. And he does all this instead of ending the war.' Andriy Kovalenko
