Russians attacked Chernihiv region: 17 thousand consumers without electricity

According to glavcom.ua: Russian terrorists carried out a night attack on the Chernihiv region, as a result of which about 17 thousand consumers were left without electricity supply. This was reported by «Chernihivoblenergo».

During a conversation with US President Donald Trump, the issue of response to attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure was not discussed. Earlier, the occupiers also attacked energy facilities in Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Sumy and Donetsk regions.

The head of «Ukrenergo» Vitaliy Zaitsenko warns that in Ukraine emergency power outages may last up to a week. On the night of October 10, the Russian Federation again attacked energy infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, using drones and missiles. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, more than 450 drones and over 30 missiles were launched.

As a result of the night attack by Russian terrorists, more than 17 thousand consumers were left without electricity supply in the Chernihiv region. Currently, energy workers are working on restoring electricity supply, but emergency power outages may continue. In particular, the head of «Ukrenergo» warns that the situation may remain critical over the next week. Russian aggression against Ukraine's energy infrastructure continues to escalate, prompting the Ukrainian authorities to appeal to partners for support and strengthening sanctions against Russia.
