Russian troops hit the energy infrastructure in Chernihiv region
According to glavcom.ua: This morning, September 30, Russian troops attacked an energy infrastructure facility in the Bobrovytsia area of Chernihiv region. This attack resulted in a significant number of consumers being disconnected from electricity supply. This was reported by Chernihivoblenergo, referencing Hlavkom.
"This morning, Bobrovytsia was under enemy fire. The energy infrastructure facility was damaged. Over 26 thousand subscribers in the city of Bobrovytsia and adjacent settlements were left without electricity," the statement reads.
Restoration operations are already underway by energy workers, but will be carried out considering the situation at the front.
Chernihivoblenergo has urged residents to maintain information silence and security measures. In case of air alerts, it is recommended to avoid being near energy facilities, as they are targets of Russian strikes and can be dangerous.

This is not the first time Russian troops have attacked energy facilities in Chernihiv region. Subsequent attacks led to power outages in 177 settlements across the region. In particular, about 54 thousand subscribers in Nizhyn and Pryluky districts remain without electricity. Chernihivoblenergo confirms that hostile actions are aimed at plunging the region into darkness.
