Russian attacks have left five regions without electricity: energy workers are working on restoration

According to Главком: As a result of Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, subscribers in five regions have been left without electricity. Energy workers are working to restore electricity supply in Donetsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Kharkiv regions, which have been hit by attacks.

Subscribers in these regions remain disconnected, where damage to energy facilities has been recorded. The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine is actively working on finding additional capacities and ensuring a fairer distribution of electricity. According to Olha Yukhymchuk,

“These measures allow balancing the energy system under conditions of damage and capacity deficit.”

Moreover, the ministry is fulfilling all interstate flows in accordance with agreements with partners, utilizing import opportunities and, if necessary, emergency assistance. The situation remains complex, but energy workers are making efforts to restore stability in Ukraine's energy system.
