Russian air defense shot down its own aircraft over Crimea: details of the incident

Russian forces shot down their own military aircraft during a drone strike at night. This was reported by the spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk.

«They were repelling attacks from the Ukrainians to such an extent that they managed to shoot down their own aircraft today over Crimea. The fight continues. All information is currently being gathered in Crimea,» – said Pletenchuk.

Also, due to the attack on Crimea, a fire broke out at another oil depot belonging to the Russians. Recall that on the night of October 17, powerful explosions occurred in the Simferopol region, where an oil depot caught fire.

Attacks in occupied Donetsk

The occupied Donetsk also suffered from drone attacks on the night of October 17. According to preliminary data, the attack resulted in damage to the stockpile of ammunition of the Russian army.
