The Angels Scouts rescued two Ukrainian defenders from captivity

Ukrainian military forces rescued two Ukrainian soldiers - a veteran and a National Guard member from captivity in Luhansk region. This successful special reconnaissance operation took place after the mother of one of the captives appealed to the military ombudsman.

'It later turned out that not far from him, literally in slavery, there was an active serviceman of the National Guard under one of the collaborators,' said the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Oleksiy Kharchenko.

According to the officer of the 'Angels' unit, the veteran and the National Guard member had to be extracted very quickly, as they were in danger. Thus, the special scouts conducted the operation without a detailed plan, but successfully brought the soldiers out of captivity.

This event served as an additional reminder of how Ukrainian military personnel continue to stand guard over national security and are ready to rescue their compatriots in any difficult situation.
