Berry season: where Ukrainians can profitably buy gooseberries, raspberries, and blueberries

With the start of the berry season, Ukrainians began actively looking for places to buy fresh and healthy summer berries at advantageous prices. Blueberries, raspberries, and gooseberries have become especially popular among buyers who wish to enrich their diet with vitamins and antioxidants. Many families plan their budgets to regularly purchase these beneficial products, as their health benefits are invaluable.
Detected price differences
The analysis showed a significant difference between the price of berries in supermarkets and markets. In chain stores, blueberries are sold at a price ranging from 99 to 279 hryvnias, depending on the packaging.
In Kyiv markets, the prices for blueberries vary from 130 to 150 hryvnias, which is almost twice cheaper than in supermarkets.
Raspberries in markets are sold for 150-230 hryvnias, while the same product in supermarkets can cost much more - from 293 to 469.80 hryvnias per kilogram.
Gooseberries are also available at an attractive price in markets - from 130 to 150 hryvnias. In supermarkets, the price is only 88.30 hryvnias for 250 grams.

During the berry season in Ukraine, prices for blueberries, raspberries, and gooseberries differ significantly in supermarkets and markets. Markets offer these berries significantly cheaper than store chains, so buyers should pay attention to the pricing policy and choose places to buy depending on their financial capabilities.
