One of the most famous superyachts in the world, Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich's 162-meter Eclipse, has arrived at Izmit Bay in Turkey for maintenance and repairs. This information was reported by local media.
The vessel, considered one of the most impressive in the world, amazed local residents who were taking photos of it on their phones. Previously, Eclipse was moored in the marina of the city of Marmaris.

The yacht headed to Istanbul for maintenance after being docked in the marina of Marmaris for two years. Additionally, another motor yacht, Solaris, owned by Roman Abramovich, also arrived at Izmit Bay for servicing.
As Turkish journalists note: 'After the sanctions imposed by EU countries and the UK, Turkish territorial waters have become a haven for many large yachts owned by Russian oligarchs.'
Roman Abramovich chooses Turkey as a long-term vacation spot and 'transshipment base' as other countries impose sanctions. Journalists emphasize that the British authorities have refused to address issues related to his assets, including those concerning Ukraine.
