Winter in Ukraine will be warmer than normal: forecasters' prediction for three months

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the average temperature for the winter months is expected to be 1.5-2 °C higher than normal. During cold weather, prolonged freezing periods are possible, especially in the north and in the Carpathians.

Forecasters also warn of sudden changes in weather during the cold period: cooling, precipitation, and dangerous meteorological phenomena. Currently, cloudy weather with light rain is expected in Ukraine, with possible fog in the Carpathians at night and winds from the southeast at a speed of 5-10 m/s.

The first days of December will bring warm weather for this time of year to Ukrainians, with light precipitation in the form of rain or wet snow. A sharp drop in temperature is not anticipated.
