According to glavcom.ua: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskiy answered the question of how the country should act to end the war on its own terms. According to him in an interview with TSN, the war must end in a way that is beneficial to Ukraine. 'We must win, not retreat,' emphasized the commander.

The war must end in a way that is advantageous to us. And we must do everything for that. That is, we must win, not retreat, said the commander.

Syrskiy emphasized the importance of destroying the enemy and inflicting such losses that will create conditions for resolving the conflict. 'Moreover, going towards ending this war must be decisively backed by force, on our terms,' he added.

Moreover, we went towards ending this war from a position of strength, on our terms. For us at the moment, this is very important, says Syrskiy.

The Situation at the Front

Describing the situation in the east of the country, General Syrskiy noted that Russian occupiers attempted to advance across the entire front line of confrontations. Despite this, Ukrainian troops repelled enemy attacks, which used the 'thousand cuts' tactic, acting through small assault groups.

According to preliminary data, total Russian losses in July amounted to over 33,200 people, an increase of 800 people compared to the previous month. Despite this, the enemy continues to build up its units by 9,000 people monthly, planning to form 10 new divisions by the end of the year, of which two have already been formed.

It is emphasized that the main goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the leadership of General Syrskiy is victory in the war and ending the conflict on the terms and conditions that will be most beneficial for Ukraine. The activity of Russian occupiers, who are strengthening their units and planning to form new divisions in the east of the country, is also noted.
