Thousands of people living in the remote microdistrict of the Darnytsia district in Kyiv are in a difficult situation due to the cancellation of a convenient transport route to the metro. The transport department has ceased the operation of minibus No. 589, which provided a link between Rembaza and the 'Darniytsia' metro station. This has become a serious problem for local residents, complicating their ability to quickly reach work, educational institutions, or medical facilities.
The residents of the area have already created a petition urging the authorities to restore the previous route or introduce a new one, as they consider transport communication critically important for their quality of life. The problem lies in the fact that the carrier refused the route due to its unprofitability, which was exacerbated by a significant portion of passengers not reaching the final stop.
The cancellation of transport services has seriously complicated the lives of residents in the remote area, compelling them to demand that the authorities quickly resolve the issue to ensure normal movement conditions in the city.
