State Budget-2026: what 468 billion UAH is allocated for the social sphere

According to Кабмін: The state budget for 2026 will be aimed at significantly increasing social support and stable funding for priority areas of assistance to citizens. For example, 468.5 billion UAH is allocated to the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine.
Among the main social areas in the Budget-2026 will be:
- Pension payments – 251.3 billion UAH.
- Support for citizens in difficult life circumstances, which includes basic social assistance and support for internally displaced persons.
- Support for families with children, which includes the launch of new programs, including a one-time payment upon the birth of a child, monthly assistance for childcare up to 1 year, and others.
- Social protection for persons with disabilities – 9.9 billion UAH.
- Various subsidies, benefits, and other social payments.
- Development of the social services system – 2.4 billion UAH.
After being signed by the President of Ukraine and officially published, the budget will come into effect, ensuring the funding of all state programs and social guarantees in 2026.
The Ukrainian state budget for 2026 will focus on improving the living conditions of citizens, ensuring support for pensioners, children, and persons with disabilities. Supporting families in various life situations is crucial and has a positive impact on the social protection of the Ukrainian population.
