The government has dismissed the supervisory boards of key energy companies: who will lead the strategic enterprises

The government has decided to reset the supervisory boards in the energy and defense sectors. This initiative involves terminating the powers of some members of the supervisory boards of key state energy companies.

Among the companies that will be affected by this decision are LLC 'Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine', JSC 'Centrenergo', JSC 'Ukrainian Distribution Networks', JSC 'Ukrainian Energy Company', JSC 'Market Operator', and JSC 'Ukrainian Energy Machines'.

'The reset of supervisory boards is an important step, as the members of these boards are responsible for strategic management and oversight of the company's internal processes,' noted the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko.

Transparent selection of new supervisory board members

Additionally, the government has approved a transparent procedure for selecting candidates for the supervisory boards of the mentioned companies. New members of the supervisory boards must be elected by the end of December of the current year.

The Minister of Defense has also been instructed to carry out a reset of the supervisory boards in defense sector enterprises.
