Latvia has supplied Ukraine with 12 thousand drones: how the situation on the front will change

Today, the President of Ukraine met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Baiba Broka. During the meeting, she was awarded the Order of Merit of the II degree for her contributions to strengthening cooperation between the countries.

The President expressed gratitude for the support and especially noted the visit of the Latvian delegation to Chernihiv, which contributed to the recovery of schools and kindergartens in Ukraine.

During the meeting, issues of defense cooperation were discussed. The parties agreed on the joint production of weapons through the SAFE mechanism. It was also emphasized that Latvia this year transferred about 12 thousand drones to Ukraine, which is an important contribution to supporting Ukrainian defense.
